Configure Mozilla Tunderbird 2.0

Mozilla Tunderbird setup and configuration with secure IMAP and POP support.

  • 1. Open to start installing. Continue following the guide after it has completed installing.
    2. Select ‘Email account’, and click ‘Next’.

  • 3. Enter your full name in the ‘Your Name:’ field.
    4. Enter your full HGmail email address (username@yourdomain.com) in the ‘Email Address:’ field, and click ‘Next’.

  • 5. Select ‘IMAP’ as the type of incoming server you are using.
    6. Enter ‘webmail.htmlgraphic.com’ in the ‘Incoming Server:’ field.
    7. Enter ‘webmail.htmlgraphic.com’ in the ‘Outgoing Server:’ and click ‘Next’.

  • 8. Enter your HGmail username (ex. username@yourdomain.com) in the ‘Incoming User Name:’ field.
    9. Click ‘Next’.

  • 10. Enter a name for your email account in the ‘Account Name:’ field, and click ‘Next’.

  • 11. Verify that the information listed under ‘Congratulations!’ is correct, and click ‘Finish’.

  • 12. We are done with the wizard. We now have to configure the SMTP server settings.
    13. Select ‘Account Settings…’ from the ‘Tools’ menu.

  • 14. Select ‘Server Settings’ listed beneath your new account.
    15. Check the box next to ‘Use secure connection (SSL)’, and ensure that ’993′ appears in the ‘Port:’ field.

  • 16. Select ‘Outgoing Server (SMTP)’ listed beneath your new account.
    17. Click on ‘Edit’.
    18. Enter ‘webmail.htmlgraphic.com’ in the ‘Server Name:’ field and enter ’25′ in the ‘Port:’ field.
    19. Check the box next to ‘Use name and password’, and enter your HGmail username (ex. username@yourdomain.com) in the ‘User Name:’ field.
    20. Select ‘TLS’ under ‘Security and Authentication’, and click ‘OK’.
